Watching the Olympics, I have found:
- It feels good to be so happy for or inspired by people I’ve never met;
- Beach volleyball is b-o-r-i-n-g, and men’s gymnastics can’t hold a candle to men’s swimming (yes, please!);
- World records were made to be shattered;
- High diving looks terrifying from any given angle;
- Scrunchies are out. It is 2008; and
- The tiny Chinese girls (who are most likely 10 years old) deserve to win so they can be let out of their cages for an extra 15 minutes per day. Save the Chinese girls!
