I like to think of myself as a well-rounded and cultured person. From travel to books to music, I like to try new things. But I am semi-ashamed to share with you that (brace yourselves) I love Celine Dion. I know, she’s not hip, but those melodies! That voice!
Well, I missed Celine when I was in Las Vegas. I mean, it seemed like such an obvious choice to me: gambling, or CELINE? But the friends I was with saw things differently.
So imagine my delight to hear this morning that Celine is coming to Washington. A new day has come, so to speak! The only catch: she won’t be here for another 10 months. But whatever, she’s coming!
And now I wonder…who else wants to go? If you’re too embarassed to admit to this publicly, you can call me. Because I feel your shame (and by shame, I mean joy).
…Update: I love Phil Collins, too. Wonder when he’s coming to Washington?
I would like to see her. When will she be in DC

sadly i must say i like her (the french and the english) my friends nearly arrested me for having it on my ipod so I did take time to remove that but I would love to see her. I just can’t believe what a rip off her shows are but keep me posted!

Don’t be sad, Colleen — it’s ok to feel your love for Celine. (You are right that the tickets were a little on the pricey side, though.)

[...] As mentioned previously, I think Celine is the cat’s pajamas. I realize this makes me nothing less than a total nerd. However, I wasn’t going to let that stop me from joining Michelle for this show, especially since I’ve been thwarted before. [...]
