Rose and Daisy’s Internet Adventure

Filed under: Uncategorized — by accidentalluddite @ 9:30 am

Today, I learned how to download pictures from my new camera and then link photos to the blog!

Since my dogs, Rose and Daisy, are my favorite subjects, I’ve posted pictures of them.  My apartment complex doesn’t allow pets, so R&D live with my parents in beautiful Waterford, Virginia (another favorite subject; see below).

Rose is three, goes by the nickname Rosie, and is very fluffy.  She likes birds, long walks, cookies, and snuggling.  She dislikes cars, car rides, and any mention of getting in the car.  Her middle name is Marie.

Rosie

Daisy is also three, goes by the nickname Daisy Mae, and is very sassy.  She likes her dad, car rides, being held, and people food.  She dislikes big dogs, her dad’s business trips, and waking up before 8 a.m.  Her middle name is Ann.

BTW, Waterford is a gorgeous town, and you can help preserve this historic landmark by attending the Waterford Fair every October.  Save Western Loudoun!

  1. Hmm…Does anyone know why the pics look normal when I link to them in the administrator mode, but ginormous when I view them through the site? Rose and Daisy only weigh 20 pounds, but they look on the site like something from The Neverending Story!

  2. There may be an automatic “resize” feature that you can select when you upload them. If not, e-mail them to me and I’ll resize them to fit on most people’s screens. I knew it wouldn’t take long before you put the girls up on your page. :)

  3. They’re too cute not to share with their public :) Thanks for the offer — I’m going to have to take you up on it!

  4. Cute dogs! Definitely experienced the larger-than-normal photos. I thought you had a gremlin for a minute! Great blog Kathy, just what I would expect from someone with such solid choices in shoes.

Hopefully I can finally make it to the Waterford Fair this year; I’d love to go.
